EFAF European Championship Series
Basic Information
Fifteen teams are contending in the European Championship Series. They are divided into three groups (A, B & C). Each group plays a tournament every four years. Only the winning teams are allowed to advance to the next level. The teams ending up in the last places have to relegate. The highest ranked Group consists of:
A-Group
Sweden
Germany
Finland
Great Britain
France
The next A-Group European Championship will be played in 2010 in Germany. The sixth team participating in the final tournament will be the winner of this years B-Group European Championship played in Austria.
B-Group

Denmark
Czech Republic

The C-Group European Championship was played in Austria in 2007. It was the first tournament of the new European Championship Series. The winner was Austria.
